Why we exist...
Hot chocolate should be a special moment of deliciousness. It should never be had 'on the go', it should never be rushed. It should be a moment of indulgence that 'hits the spot' and makes you feel warm and fuzzy. A hot chocolate should be one of life's Hygge moments.
We didn't think that existed. So we created it.

We know what the rush of life is like and we've set this business up to make a difference. Whether that is you taking time for yourself and having a Hygge Hot Chocolate, or finding some of our mindful tips and tricks helpful or even being signposted to Anxious Minds, our partner charity.
We've been in the big boardrooms of big business and we wanted to set up this business differently. Our social responsibility is taken seriously, not just a tick-box exercise to win a tender.
What is Hygge?

It is a practical way of creating sanctuary in the middle of a very real life, a way of illuminating the dark and inviting warmth, simplicity and connection that calms chaos and anxiety.

It is a deliciously warming hot chocolate in a moment of calm. It is the fire on and getting cosy under your favourite throw. It is a long Autumn dog walk in fresh air. It's the flickering of candles and shimmering of Christmas tree lights. It is a Sunday dinner with the family or a couple of drinks around a campfire with good friends.
It is anything that helps you feel warm, loved and safe. We think it's a bloody good hot chocolate with the fire on and our dogs Humphrey (Robert & Alix') & Wilson (Ben's) snoring in the background.
